eSkye Announces Acquisition of Modular IS

GLEN ELLEN, CA -- eSkye Solutions, Inc. will acquire software maker Modular Information Systems (MIS) for an undisclosed sum.

MIS develops and sell winery management software.  The company's offering provides an end-to-end solution for "vineyard and harvest management, wine production, manufactured finished goods, accounting, sales and distribution, tasting room and winery club applications."

eSkye is a provider of software applications to the beverage industry and has pursued an aggressive acquisition strategy over the past four years.
